Searching for information on John Cullen, maybe b. ca 1820-25 who had a son John Patrick Cullen who was b. ca 1844 ?. John Cullen's wife was Mary O'Brien. John Patrick Cullen had a break in his relationship with his father and changed his name to John Patrick O'Brien (took his mother's name) and left Ireland and came to America (maybe ca 1858). Searching for any information relating to this family.

We are descendants (great great grandchildren) of John Cullen -farmer and JP of Killsillagh (or Kilsella), Sligo 1820-1885 - he was the grandson of John Cullen 4th son of James Cullen of Cloonaguin as mentioned in the Cullen Family Pedigree by David Cullen of Lackagh Lodge. This is such a wonderful source of information! Regarding Katie Cullen who was present at John Cullen's funeral, this was his youngest daughter -latterly Kate Hunter who died aged 29. (buried at Drumcliff in the family grave).
Is there anyone else with information about this branch?

My Great grandmother, Catherine "Kate" Cullen was born to Patrick Cullen and Ann Dunlavy, as stated on her marriage certificate, about 1869 in Co. Sligo, Ireland.

Catherine had a sister, possibly Bridget that went by the knickname "BZ" she came to America too. Bridget reportedly married a man by the last name Croak/Croke and settled in Beverly, MA.

Catherine came to America in the mid 1890's and settled in Peabody, Massachusetts. She married John Eagan from Co. Galway in 1897. Together they had 10 children. Any connections to Catherine?? Seeking information about her parents and other possible siblings.

My grandfather, Terence Cullen, was born in Roscommon, Ireland in 1890. His father was Patrick Cullen and Margaret Lee. Their house was in Sligo.
He either had 5 brothers or was one of 5. Michael died before the age of 10 in Ireland. I know only one other brother, John Cullen, who immigrated to the United States and lived in NY. We know that most of them left Ireland and one possibly moved to California.
Terence immigrated to the US-New York and served for the US in WWII. He married Gertrude Gwynne Hanfield and had three children: Terence John, John Patrick and Gertrude--who became Gertrude Manning.
I would greatly appreciate information on the Cullens and Lees in Ireland and my grandfather's brother's whereabouts. Thank you!
